We are an independent financial advisory office with a focus on investments and wealth management.
What do you mean by “independent?”
An independent advisor is not employed by a bank and is not obligated to favour investments from their employer. We are business owners, not employees. We work for our clients.
What do you do?
We work with a select number of clients providing them with clarity, confidence and direction so that their money and life work together in harmony. In addition, we provide the convenience of working with one firm who can help you with a wide range of financial services, including investments, insurance*, and financial planning.
Why do you do it?
Our desire is to help you live at the intersection of where your life goals and money meet.
How do you do it?
We help you accomplish this through our unique discovery process. We start by getting very clear about your “What” and your “Why” – what is important to you and why do you want to accomplish it. After you are extremely clear on your vision, goals, and most important priorities we turn our attention to the “How” – the strategies and tactics to make your vision a reality.
What differentiates you from other advisors?
Team Approach – The majority of financial advisory practices are run as sole practitioners which we believe is an antiquated model in today’s fast-moving world. Our team structure allows each member to focus on their areas of knowledge and allows for cross-accountability. This means ideas are shared and vetted so that only the best gets through.

I have been dissatisfied with the service received from my current advisor. They don’t seem to make time for me. How will things be different with you?
As independent advisors, the success of our practice has always been dependent on the overall satisfaction of our clientele. Every client can receive our bi-annual service schedule – two regularly scheduled reviews with both being comprehensive and in person. These reviews are designed to help you achieve your most important goals and priorities.
What type of clients do you work with?
We work with family-oriented clients who appreciate the advice of professionals, are committed to transparency, and want to meet regularly. We find that we work best with households having $250,000 or more in investable assets.
What range of financial products and services do you provide?
We have elected to affiliate with a large financial company, iA Private Wealth Inc., and have access to a wide variety of financial products or services that you and your family could need.
What is your investment philosophy?
We believe that active wealth management, diversification and a contrarian view offer the best long-term investment success.
What is your view on insurance planning?
We believe that insurance plans are like lifeboats on your financial ship. They need to be built of such quality that when you strike an iceberg, you and the people you love can get safely to shore. We hold fast to the number one insurance principle – insure those things that you cannot afford to lose: your income, your health, and your life.

Do you accept referrals?
Yes. We believe there is truth to the saying “birds of a feather flock together.” Since we have limited space available in our practice, we like to meet new clients that share similar qualities and values that we enjoy so much in our existing clients. Studies have also shown that a recommendation from a trusted and well-liked friend is exactly how people prefer to find their next advisor.
